Springtime in New York is the most wonderful of all seasons. Dear friends always come visit, the sun is shining and inviting us to have fun outdoors. Mia is blooming as the most precious flowers! She already speaks and understand some portuguese, hebrew, english and spanish! She is so cute and friendly, always saying "Hi" to strangers. Everywhere she goes she makes new friends, nobody can resist her innocent and truly happy smile. I call her our "Bolinha de Felicidade" (happiness ball)! Oh, she and makes us sooooo happy! Yes, she does!
Dear friends Silvia and Clarke with us :)

Mia on a ferry coming back from a beautiful day in Coronado Beach..."Welcome to The Hotel California...Such a Lovely Place..." San Diego
We had an amazing time in California! Eran had a conference in San Diego and took his family along with him! What a fantastic idea! We met Karina and her lovely twins; Gabriel and Rafael, and their grandparents from Brazil! We had a lot of fun together! We went to the San Diego Zoo, walked around in the marina and boardwalk, La Jolla Beach and La Jolla Children’s Pool, Coronado Beach. It was a great trip!
Karen, Dandush, Noam, Libi, Mia, Eran and The Golden Gate Bridge. On our way to a very special day in Sausalito, San Francisco.
Daddy and Mia having fun!
We also went to San Francisco, where we stayed at Karen and Noam's place! They are incredible hosts and their kids; Libi and Daniel are so sweet and gorgeous! We spent the Passover at Karen's parents house and it was a beautiful evening! Thank you so much for having us, we had an awesome time! So nice to spend time with our dear friends, either in the hot tub at home, or in Santa Cruz Beach or in Sausalito or in Muir Woods National Park, or just having an ice cream in the Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory! :)

WINTER IN NYC During this winter we went to B-Day parties, play dates, The Museum of Natural History (Mia's favorite animal is the gorilla! And she keeps asking museum, museum, I guess she likes going to the Museum! Oh, well, she must like some culture...) and Central Park (she loves the statue of Alice Wonderland), we also went to the Children's Brooklyn Museum, we enjoyed playing with stickers and drawing...so much to do, so little time! :)

"Purr-fect Purim party
Painted Purim merrymakers Mia Goldstein and baby Gabriela are the cat's meow as they help spread the cheer during a joyous community party at Chabad North of Brooklyn. For more, turn to page 19."
Well, they switched our names and made a mistake in our last name...Oh Well...Mia didn't mind being called baby Gabriela :) Goldstein, Bornstein, I guess it all sounds the same. How cute is that?

In January there was an awesome photo shoot of Mia's class in the Gan! Julie's mom, Staci is a professional photographer and did a wonderful job! Thanks Staci! I'm so happy to have this precious memory: Mia's first friends from her first school! And her first teachers: Morah Sheina (she's brazilian!) and Morah Lea (actually the manager and mother of Moshe)

Our little Mia is adapting really quickly to all her new activities. She started going to the Day Care! And she loves it! The Gan Chabbad House is an amazing place and we are feeling so happy to have found this place where our Mia can play, learn, make friends and have fun! She can eat sitting on the table and take naps with her friends! At the Gan they do yoga, dance classes and make Challah bread every friday! She is developing and growing in a friendly, educative and warm place where her teacher speaks portuguese (she is brazilian!), hebrew (she lived in Israel for 2.5 years!) and english! We can't believe we found that perfect place for our daughter! And it's in Brooklyn, Williamsburg! So close to our home! We couldn't be happier! :)

Mia and Aba doing "Tovaaaaa Tovaaaa" during brunch. So Sweet!
Mia had an incredible amount of fun during those 2 months and a half in Israel with Tata and Hezi! She was so happy to spend more time with her israeli family! She wouldn't stop calling her uncles Ori and Amir and her cousins Adi, Yair and Omri! (That's the way she calls some of her loved ones: Heziiiiiiiiiiiii, Adiiiiiiiiiii, Oriiiiiiiiiiiiiiii). She learned to speak hebrew with a lot of Tata's input, to walk with Hezi's nonstop chair training, and to stay without her mama for 5 hours a day! Wow! So many accomplishments in so little time! She missed her dad a lot, but after 2 months apart, we finally got together again and had 2 marvelous weeks united in Tel Aviv! Everyday her mom would go to the Ulpan to learn hebrew and she would stay with Tata, and some days with Hezi! They would go to the park or to the Gimboree, to music classes or story telling. They had so much fun together and teached each other so many things! It was amazing, we all had a great time and we would like to thank them so much for such a warm, caring and wonderful stay! Hava, the neighbor was incredible and Mia also loved her immensely! It was so sweet to see Mia's development during those months of September and October...We started writing down all the new words in hebrew that Mia could speak, but at some point it got a little over control, we couldn't keep up with her anymore, she's "too fluent"! :) We will never forget those lovely moments...

MIA IN SERIOUS ACTION! So many fantastic moments that we needed to register in video!
Mia finally decided to get up and walk one day while she was in Israel with her grandparents! Our little girl reached one more major milestone! We are so proud of her!
