Israel + France : Wonderful Vacation

France : Summer 2010 : Paris and Province

In July 2010 we spent 2 gorgeous weeks in Paris and Provence. Gabi was 5 months pregnant and Mia had just turned 2 years old! Eran had just finished his fellowship in NYU and was about to start his job in Lenox Hill. We had a magical time meeting friends, eating great food and seeing the most beautiful landscape! So fun to travel with my family! I love you! I love us!

During this trip we had amazing and truly happy family moments! It was a marvelous trip and Mia is the perfect travel buddy! She was already speaking some french, she loved saying "Bonjour. Merci. Au revoir. Couch Bengo, couch! Cheveu. Doucement. Oui". We had a lot of fun visiting the most wonderful sights. We spent the first 4 days in marvelous Paris, in David Selicowitz's penthouse in the Avenue Henri Martin, in the 16 arrondissement. It was really fabulous! Than we got a train to Avignon where we rented a car and headed to Auberne, a small little village close to Uzés. There we stayed for a week with Vanessa, Chris and Jaya in the most beautiful and pictoresque house ever! We did gorgeous day trips all over Provence and afterwords we visited Gui, in Grenoble, where we spent 2 delicious nights. We went back to Paris, where we spent 3 fantastic days with great friends, having fun and living the sweet life... For sure this was an unforgettable vacation...

ISRAEL : MIA'S B-DAY : FAMILY

We spent the end of June and beginning of July in Israel. 3 weeks of pure love, relaxation and fun! Mia had another great party beautifully prepared by Safta Nira and Saba Hezi to celebrate her 2 years birthday with her israeli family and friends. She had an amazing time during her stay in the mediterranean Tel Aviv, going to the beach, swimming pool, playing with her cousins Adi, Omri and Yair, and with her uncles Dod Ori and Dod Amir! She also loved going to the kibutz and playing everyday with safta and saba, who took her to the playground, read books, played piano, brushed her teeth, put her to sleep and just spent a very great quality time with her! They really adore each other! What a joy! :) It was surely a special time and we want to repeat it many times!

Brazil 2010

Mia had a great time in Brazil! She spent the entire month of May among friends, family and gorgeous nature! We stayed in São Conrado, at Luizão and Pingo's place, which was incredible! Ritinha, Eta and Antonio were also great help and so cute with Mia! Oh, and Kauai, the dog was her special friend! She would call everyone's names every morning! Starting with Pingooooo, Luizãããããoooo! :) Kika would visit us frequently and Mia loves the stories that she tells, speacially Titotó!

It was amazing to spend the weekend near Paty do Alferes, in the mountains, in the "Sitio da Dadeia", a small farm with a few animals such as cows, horses, chicken, rabbits, dogs! Mia was in heaven playing with the animals and so happy to have fun with Calu, Luis, Pedro, Vovó Karen, Carlos and Russa! Oh, and let's not forget the dogs Onix and Gipsy that she would call all the time!

Mialê also spent a week in Buzios! The first weekend we went to Cris's house in Manguinhos! We were a huge and delicious group: Cris and her son Pablo, her boyfriend Pedro and his 3 kids, Dino our dear friend, and Rapha and Diego our lovely cousins! Mia loved everybody, specially Marina, Pedro's daughter who became her best friend and an amazing babysitter! :) The rest of the week we spent at Yori and Clarisse's place! It was so nice to stay there with their two daughters, the 1 year old Noah and the 3 year old Lia! Mia played and learned a lot during this week! Oh, and had lots of fresh squeezed fruit juices and açaí with granola! :)

Our adored daughter also went to school for 5 days! Espaço Total School was very welcoming and the nature around it was spectacular! Mia just loved it!

Also she is specially in love with asa delta and para pent (hang gliding and a kind of parachute). We went all the way to the place were they launch with Vovô Ricardo! It was beautiful!

Thank you so much all of you who made our trip unforgettable! We love you all! :) And Congratulations to my cousin Roberto and his lovely wife Debora, who had a gorgeous wedding!

I Love Springtime in New York

Springtime in New York is the most wonderful of all seasons. Dear friends always come visit, the sun is shining and inviting us to have fun outdoors. Mia is blooming as the most precious flowers! She already speaks and understand some portuguese, hebrew, english and spanish! She is so cute and friendly, always saying "Hi" to strangers. Everywhere she goes she makes new friends, nobody can resist her innocent and truly happy smile. I call her our "Bolinha de Felicidade" (happiness ball)! Oh, she and makes us sooooo happy! Yes, she does!

I Love Springtime in New York

California Dreams

We had an amazing time in California! Eran had a conference in San Diego and took his family along with him! What a fantastic idea! We met Karina and her lovely twins; Gabriel and Rafael, and their grandparents from Brazil! We had a lot of fun together! We went to the San Diego Zoo, walked around in the marina and boardwalk, La Jolla Beach and La Jolla Children’s Pool, Coronado Beach. It was a great trip!

We also went to San Francisco, where we stayed at Karen and Noam's place! They are incredible hosts and their kids; Libi and Daniel are so sweet and gorgeous! We spent the Passover at Karen's parents house and it was a beautiful evening! Thank you so much for having us, we had an awesome time! So nice to spend time with our dear friends, either in the hot tub at home, or in Santa Cruz Beach or in Sausalito or in Muir Woods National Park, or just having an ice cream in the Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory! :)

Mia loves to learn with her daddy. And she already understands about embryos and PGD! Wow! We are sooo proud of our little girl! You Go, girl! You Go, Mialê!

WINTER IN NYC
During this winter we went to B-Day parties, play dates, The Museum of Natural History (Mia's favorite animal is the gorilla! And she keeps asking museum, museum, I guess she likes going to the Museum! Oh, well, she must like some culture...) and Central Park (she loves the statue of Alice Wonderland), we also went to the Children's Brooklyn Museum, we enjoyed playing with stickers and drawing...so much to do, so little time! :)

Well, they switched our names and made a mistake in our last name...Oh Well...Mia didn't mind being called baby Gabriela :) Goldstein, Bornstein, I guess it all sounds the same. How cute is that?
